The Trump administration is arguing in court that halting a $400m White House ballroom and bunker overhaul would endanger national security, setting up a sharp clash with preservationists and a federal judge.
Not that I give trump credit for any kind of forward thinking, but could this plan been made by someone smarter than him to bulldoze the current bunker so that he could claim that taxpayers need to build a bunker at MaraLago?
Oh I have no doubt he’s had a mar-a-lago bunker complex on his wishlist for a while now, useful for sorting stolen documents to make a buck off … perhaps when 2028 looms closer and he is certain of an incoming win suddenly construction will begin at mar-a-lago …
