I had to take a physics exam in a room with these desks. The exam was on that super long paper too. After tearing off the formula sheet and setting that on your lap, trying to work out the problems and keep all your stuff organized was impossible. After hearing the 3rd calculator fall on the floor less than 2 minutes into the exam I just had to laugh out loud at the absurdity of the whole situation.

I honestly seek out audiobooks to fall asleep to. I will have portions of songs on repeat in my head otherwise and it used to take me an hour to fall asleep. Now I can tell how long it took me to fall asleep because of how far in the book I need to rewind before I can remember something happening. Lately it’s been tough to get through a book because I keep falling asleep within 5 minutes.

For long drives it’s definitely necessary to have a book you can really get into. I loved the Stormlight Archives done by GraphicAudio because there was music and background noises and each character had a unique actor (or at least an actor playing with different accents). Helped a couple of 11 hours drives pass by.

So a good audiobook to fall asleep to?

There’s some extra limbs I the background that could be cats that are obscured by the ones in the foreground. The weird spot above the cat on the right could be the tip of a tail, but is also weird.

The rest looks like when I use portrait mode for taking a picture of a cat. It makes the fur a bit weird.

It’s been pretty awesome here in Calgary. Was getting worried there that ski season was going to be delayed. But I love a good snow dump to start winter. It sucks when it’s cold and icy but no snow to cover things up.

Probably sucks for anyone that has to commute right now though.
