And when hearing or reading pavlov we think about the guy, dogs, the bell and feeding.
This is how I saw part 3 in the cinema at opening. The cinema had part 1 and 2 extended on the day leading into launch and just after midnight we watched part 3.
RubberDuck@lemmy.worldto Programmer Humor@programming.dev•Flight instinct intensifies31·11 months agoSuch incredible bullshit. Tracking is to learn and see where things go right and wrong.
The fact manglement then puts the onus on the employee to cook te books for them is bizarre. Once tasks go over budget you can have a talk about it in a retrospective or something. But half hours… makes no sense.
When they get in the car after shopping and they have candy, they pay daddy tax before the car moves.
And the whole setting allows for awesome sci fi, with spin offs if successful. I’m not holding my breath but it would be awesome if the series opens the door for broad application of the franchise.
Decades of universe building and flexible enough to allow new stuff. But Tyranids, orcs, chaos, eldar, necron, Hive cities, battlefleet, titans… please don’t let them fuck this up.
This could be absolute nonsense… but it sounds legit… so I’ll believe you internet stranger. Have my up vote.
They also did it on a single income back then.
Yeah… pretty accurate for me too.

Microsoft should be putting up money via the support contract to support the creators in maintaining and further development of their product.
A one off payment might be technically sufficient, it is not ethically or morally sufficient. And to put it in terms shareholders understand… support contract is cheaper than the cost of an alternative.

RubberDuck@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.ml•Europe battles powder shortage to supply shells for Ukraine3110·1 year agoThis is normal. Upscaling any production will show you where the bottlenecks in your supply chain are.
It is shitty in the current context, but still banning products due to human rights abuses is a good thing.
Now the aim is to resolve the bottleneck post haste.
Your entire post reads as an accusation, the quotes around human rights makes it seem you think it’s nonsense.

But france can step it up a bit too.

RubberDuck@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.ml•The war in Ukraine and our obligation to seek peace21·1 year agoWell, if Putin says he considers Odessa part of Russia (see the tass article), we should believe him. The fact Odessa has not had a referendum and was annexed is not for lack of trying.
And the other 5 are according to Russian law, Russia. Meaning they can send conscripts there legally, as they can only be deployed within Russian borders.
Is there an easy to find style guide of how Windows would like you to use these things, cause I never found one.
Appdata, my documents, program files… Everyone seems to be all over the place
