I don’t think LLMs and other models will ever go away I just want them to not be shoe horned into absolutely everything. They’re actively useful for certain analyses and tasks, they just aren’t a panacea.

Not only is AI a new market but it’s the only market where someone with way less investment can leapfrog the shit out of you and that group can just release shit for free just to stab you in the dick after billions of investment. Open AI only has a hope if it can get massive state level contracts to fund it, likely by offering some type of surveillance service which they aren’t even specced for but models like these are great at. Just all round bad investment decision to buy into them unless you know what they’re planning.

We have stock piles that we can grant to other nations without congressional approval. We use these to keep supplying Ukraine when Republicans act cute. It just sounds as a reallocation of assets. Trump would do this in a heartbeat. His own son has bragged about stealing Palestinian land.

Harris absolutely would not put American boots on the ground to fuck with Israel’s neighbors because Israel isn’t worth it in the slightest. But what Israel does have is a AIPAC and the current political situation means that if a shit ton of money and political favors and compromot gets turned against Harris the moment she or Biden piss Netanyahu off enough, ruining the presidential election but also down ballot campaigns.

I understand genocide quite well. If there is justice America will face a great many consequences and Israel will as well. But the key issue right now is Trump will win if Kamala does not. And Trump will do more than make the genocide worse he will make this country worse than before in ways that will cost lives here and abroad. That isn’t saying Harris is perfect, it’s saying Trump is worse. And I know that sucks ass. It does. But it’s been sucking ass and it won’t be fixed until we have a real national left party or otherwise that has an actual edge in a national election.

At least other nations have more balls and I’m hoping international pressure starts to weigh on the US as well. But Trump is famously manipulatable by dictators, love Netanyahu etc all the coming sucking memes. I don’t think for a moment that Trump would yield to and international pressure in a positive way. Ignoring all the domestic garbage and christofascist apocalyptic bullshit.

By providing more weapons, removing all pretext of even a symbalance of a spine, putting our troops on the ground in neighboring nations to expand the fuckery. This can get much much much worse and I don’t know why people ignore it. Trump will lead to greater horrors that’s the whole reason we are pissed because we don’t have real options right now.

Trump even stated he wantsd to accelerate it. Which was a major strategic mistake on his part he could’ve just shut tf up about it or lied about forcing a ceasefire but he can’t think ahead at all.

Maybe people will support a third party that is actually interested in governing and not just a spoiler party that conveniently pops up during the presidential election yeah. I’m hopeful people will actually pay attention and build local party power with the way things have been going. But time will tell.

It matters quite a lot given that Republicans as a party have openly stated that Israel should accelerate all violence against the people of Palestine and expand settlements. The Republican party previously used moabs in the middle east just because Trump wanted go see a big bang and assassinated an Iranian general after inviting him for a peace talk. It matters quite a lot.

Our situation sucks ass but it’s either the Democratic party or make things far worse for everyone far faster and completely destroy the possibility of doing anything at all.

Agreed. Trump’s recent rhetoric has been about dictatorship not presidency. It increasingly appears like a trump win would be the last election for a while.

This is the thing for me. I have had too many near misses that aren’t even spectacular. I don’t know if I could survive the dice roll again like that.

This is pretty much Glaze 2. It just intentionally poisons the data set with specific targets so model is more fucked. Originally it was just noise being put in and ultimately a image that had been glazed would just get tossed. With this, the image will actually fuck up the resulting model of there is enough poisoned data included.
