71·1 year agoExactly, why do people care so much about celebrities. It’s understandable to appreciate their work/talent (movies or whatever) but to go beyond that to know whatever crap they are doing in their life is cringy.
It means when the author was waiting for his order at Popeyes, the guy in front who did small talk with him introduced himself as a Gitlab employee and told the author “Gitlab might sell in weeks. It is a deal or no deal”
