Yeah the tipping point is going to be AI/robot quality and mass production scale/cost.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see “robot” clubs at some point…

Seen lots of talk on this topic. Basically concerns on stds are high but that never stopped anyone before. Just hard for a legit business venture. I feel like i read about a dude renting sex doll out.

Lol pretty accurate. Sex doll tech has gone real far since I first heard of it but that’s still how I feel about the models in general. Making something look human while being durable/soft seems difficult. Always gives off feeling…

Weird that someone with an extra $50k to throw around would choose sex with a robot rather than nurture meaningful human relationships. Or maybe they could do both, because wealthy people can do whatever the fuck they want. But just imagine the mental state of anyone who’d have sex with a robot, they’re gonna be a bit fucked-up in the head. Psychotic. Cold. Disassociated.

From what I read the sexdoll market is mostly divorced men in 50s. So probably dudes just wants something easy from burn out. Human relationships require work and time. Plus no stds or BCs to worry about. In fact the concept of added AI for conversation shows ppl want connections but don’t find it. Just ask anyone online dating who is under a 6.
