I made scrambled eggs out of sticks and leaves, and I used the camcorder to make stop-motion videos of my toy cars

I never pretended to be a bride. I didn’t see many weddings as a kid, so probably not a lot of reason to latch onto that. Plus, pretending to be a princess is much better! Fancy dress, but more color options and you also get to boss people around. Also, no lame boys needed.

I never played princess. I always wanted to play queen. Married, mature and with power, sounded like a much better deal.

To this day I’ve only attended one wedding and one funeral, I’m more sheltered than most real princesses 👸

Can relate but I made potions in the bath. With various colors of shampoo. In actual glass test tubes and such from the science supply store (probably not wise @my parents but all the little glass bottles were adorable).

I got a 2 liter pepsi bottle and filled it with a bunch of crazy shit to try and make a potion. Things like toothpaste and ketchup and a bunch of other horrible shit. Seeing it coagulate inside like some sort of homunculus made me think I was really onto something

I tried something similar, but I was using small drops of parfume, some grass I plucked outside, other random organic stuff and a pot. The pot was on a lit stove. You can imagine how delightfully it must have smelled…

No, I don’t remember a single instance of play pretending to be a bride. I do remember several of play pretending to be a Dad though. For the record - I’m still a straight woman, always been. I don’t know what lady in pink is going on about.

I used to wet toilet paper and tissues and place them over the faces on my dolls, and then they would dry and harden and I could make masks. My mother expressed that this is not how we should play with dolls.

I always had strange feeling like I’m pregnant (can’t explain exactly that feeling) but I had feeling, and kinda wished I could experience actually being pregnant. Well turns out I was not really a man, I was trans girl. I was never fat, but I did had little bigger stomach and would get weird and kinda happy feeling of it actually being me pregnant. I never had sex, and I know, and knew back then how to become pregnant but still got that feeling

Like I don’t plan on having children or marrying, at least not in traditional sense but I do wish I could experience pregnancy and be surrogate mother.
