They haven’t declared war on autism. They’ve declared war on science and knowledge in general.

I hate to say it because it’s become a cliche, but it’s Idiocracy.

Europe, your shit stinks too. You’re still trying to ram through installing wiretaps on everyone’s devices, outlawing encryption and VPNs, your protesters in favor of the Palestinian people are still being brutalized and imprisoned, nearly all of your countries are moving farther and farther towards fascism themselves.

Da fuck you doing over there yourselves?

The US is under the control of the fourth reich, yes, and following the exact same playbook as Nazi Germany did (trans folks, disabled people, our very own Reichstag, etc). Just please watch your own shit too.

Nothing good. The bad people are winning, and the rest of us are in distress. It’s hard to explain…

Imagine your job is no longer secure. Imagine your afraid of going to the doctor, because treatment for anything other than something basic could bankrupt your entire family.

You’re now 15% along your way to understanding Americans.

Trumps mad cause he cant pronounce acetaminophen, as such he’s waging war on the name brand Tylenol saying it’s linked to autism. When in reality he just cant pronounce it so yeah. Word is he’s taking on tums next saying “eating driveway chaulk works just the same, trust me”

What is going on, fake causes of diseases and anti Vax is the tip of the iceberg.

Medicalization of social problems: Medical practitioners played a central role in promoting and implementing the regime’s goals by redefining social and political issues as medical problems. The state was framed as the primary “patient,” and its “health” required the elimination of undesirable elements.“Life unworthy of life”: This central principle (LebensunwertesLeben) was used to justify the killing of those considered a biological and financial burden on society. It targeted individuals with physical and mental disabilities, including those deemed “feebleminded,” chronically ill, or otherwise “defective”.

Forced sterilization: The 1933 “Law for the Prevention of Offspring with Hereditary Diseases” mandated the involuntary sterilization of those diagnosed with alleged hereditary ailments, such as schizophrenia, epilepsy, Huntington’s chorea, and “feeblemindedness.” By the end of the Nazi regime, an estimated 400,000 people were forcibly sterilized.

The T4 Euthanasia Program: Beginning in 1939, this program involved the systematic murder of institutionalized patients with physical and mental disabilities. Initially involving children, the program expanded to adults, killing an estimated 250,000 people.

Eugenics was very popular before WWII, that’s definitely not limited to a single country.

The US waged a campaign of sterilization in Puerto Rico to slow down it’s population growth and to prevent it from becoming a state. The US also regularly sterilized Latinas up until the 1970’s

What’s their problem with autism? Are they just using it as a tool to scare people away from certain things? Is the average knowledge about autism in the US really this far behind?

They started with the immigrants and “criminals.” Then they openly said to imprison the homeless. Now they’re targeting comedians, judges, sexual minorities, and the neurodivergent while laying the groundwork to declare political opponents terrorists.

Yeah, they declared Tylenol was causing autism, causing lots of people to be outraged, especially those who are blaming vaccines as the “actual” cause for it. Absolute chaos.

So the people who know better are mad and the people who are fucking whacky are mad. This seems like a low percentage move.
